The tipi

The Bellfire Teepee is located in the Meeker Hollow - one of the best places for stargazing in NY State, on our 10 acre property bordering state land and miles of forest. We designed the Tipi and chose the location very carefully with privacy and tranquility in mind. The Tipi is located 500 ft from the farm house, nestled between a seasonally running creek, maple trees and wild flower field. June and July is peak lightning bug season - not to be missed!

The Bellfire Tipi is an 18ft dream and perfect place for a comfortable and unique getaway. Custom made furniture, wool carpets, cedar floors and handmade decor pieces have been carefully curated to create a space that is meditative, relaxing and practical. There is undeniable magic in sitting around a bonfire inside a Tipi and listening to the stream and each other and waking up to the sounds of the wind and birds singing.

There's no doubt that the Sioux Indian created an incredible structure that served as their home year round. We were inspired by their creativity and innovation and took it up a notch to create a space that serves the modern needs as well.

Kitchenette
includes camping stove, tea kettle, ceramic coffee dripper, mugs, plates, silverware, saucer, pan, coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, kitchen utensils, drinking water.

Outside the Tipi
there is a stone fire pit with seating, a charcoal grill, and an extra wide hammock.

The outhouse
was designed and built by us with reclaimed barn wood and cedar roofing. It features a composting toilet and wash station and is located about 50 feet from the Tipi.
